Climate & Seasons
Spring and Fall are glorious with temperatures from the 50s to 70s the norm. Nights can dip into the 30s. Summertime averages high 70s to low 80s with a sprinkling of 90 degree days. Rock and ice climbing, led by expert climbing guides from Eastern Mountain Sports on the face of Cathedral and White Horse ledge attract the truly adventurous. River canoeing and kayaking, fly fishing and swimming in crystal clear waters with a view to take your breath away are just steps away from shopping and fine dining. Take a ride in a tea cup at Storyland, or enjoy an historic train ride at the Conway Scenic Railroad, there are indoor and outdoor attractions open year round. There’s always something fun to do in North Conway including Arts Jubilee outdoor concerts in July and August, Mud Bowl Football and Parade in September, the Fall Festival and Scarecrow Contest in October, Snow Princess Festival in February and the Polar Express Event in December.

In the winter there are over 3000 chair lifts, trams and gondolas carrying thousands of skiers to the peaks of some of the finest skiing resorts in the eastern United States. Small and family friendly Mt. Cranmore is located just a block from the historic snow train station in North Conway!
