White Mountain Cupcakery Expands at Settlers Green

March 26, 2018 (North Conway, NH) – The White Mountain Cupcakery is marking its 5th anniversary at Settlers Green Outlet Village with an expansion that will include a 12-person classroom, expanded offerings and interior design upgrades.

Construction at its Settlers Green location is underway now through Friday, April 13. The company will be closing its North Conway Village location on March 31 and will solely operate at Settlers Green. It is all part of a move to put its whole operation under one roof and begin to offer creative experiences in a new classroom designed to host themed classes, advanced techniques and courses, as well as special guest decorators. Kathy Iannuzzi, who co-owns the Cucakery with her husband Marc Iannuzzi, will continue to lead in the kitchen as well as host classes.

The renovation will double the size of the Cupcakery from 847 square feet to 1612 square feet of space, including a general sales area with tables for customers, a classroom, a bathroom and expanded kitchen. Its menu will expand beyond its awarding-winning cupcakes to include additional homemade treats with an assortment of toppings. The Cupcakery also offers coffee, espresso and gluten-free options.

Designed by Prellwitz Chilinski Associates of Cambridge, Massachusetts, the new interior elements including rustic wood paneling, concrete countertops and the Cupcakery’s signature turquoise color palette will accentuate its down-home feel. Other interior design notables are stainless steel work tables in the classroom along shiplap accent walls and subway tiling.

“We have worked to have the new interior design feel quaint and cozy, like the downtown location,” Kathy noted. “We think it will please everyone.”

A family run business, the White Mountain Cupcakery opened in 2009 and was elevated to a new level in 2012 after a winning appearance on the Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars”. Kathy and Marc run the business and employ eight local staff members. They also co-own and operate Wicked Fresh Craft Burgers, which is located less than a mile away from the Cupcakery at Settlers Corner.

The Cupcakery expects to open its newly renovated location at Settlers Green Suite D52 on Saturday, April 14. Updates can be found on facebook.com/wmcupcakery or at wmcupcakery.com.
