Presented by Skechers — Keep the kids busy while you shop back-to-school! There's a family-friendly event each day.

Kids Block Party at Streetside

Monday, August 12, 5-7 p.m.

Join us for a special evening of back-to-school shopping with a chance to win a $250 Settlers Green Shopping Spree or a new pair of sneakers! There will be 200 bags given away in The Pathway next to Skechers. There will also be free face painting, the Na'Cho Average Food Truck and a Cruise Night with the MWV Old Car Club. All activities take place in The Pathway at Settlers Green Streetside.

Kids Back-To-School Shopping Bag Giveaway presented by Skechers; 5 p.m.

School-aged kids K-12 will be eligible to receive a bag as part of this back-to-school promotion. Must be present. The giveaway will take place in The Pathway next to Skechers.

• One bag includes a $250 Settlers Green Gift Card
• Ten bags include a free pair of sneakers
• All bags include an exclusive coupon for Skechers

Free Face Painting with Brandie, 5-7 p.m.

Local artist Brandie Markgren will have an assortment of designs for kids to choose from. Look for her setup in The Pathway between Skechers and Francesca's.

MWV Old Car Club Cruise Night, 5:30-7 p.m.

Check out old cars, muscle cars, motorcycles and cool builds! The Cruise Night is free to attend. The event takes place in the parking lot behind Polo Ralph Lauren. Learn more about how to enter your vehicle here.

Touch-A-Truck

Tuesday, August 13, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The littles are going to love our Touch-A-Truck event with a bit of North Country style. Opportunities to explore a Dump Truck, provided by Gordon T. Burke & Sons, a Tucker Sno-Cat, provided by the Mount Washington Observatory, a SnowCoach, provided by Mt. Washington Auto Road, and a Side-By-Side ATV provided by Northeast ATV Rentals. The vehicles will be located in the North Square outside of Famous Footwear. 

Scavenger Hunt

Wednesday, August 14, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Stop by Customer Service (Suite C13) and pick up a Scavenger Hunt card. Snap a photo when you find each spot on the board. Return the completed card to Customer Service and school-aged kids K-12 receive a free Cotopaxi Luzon 18L Backpack! While supplies last. 

Games on The Green

Thursday, August 15, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Games on The Green, Kids Craft led by Brandie, and a Triple Play food special presented by Cheese Louise, Boba Beach Bubble Tea and Sprinks Ice Cream in The Courtyard.

Crafting with Brandie, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Local artist Brandie Markgren will lead kids in a special craft in this drop-in activity.

Games on The Green, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Carnival Games mixed in with free play for kids on The Green. Stay tuned for a schedule of Carnival Games, no sign up necessary.

Triple Play Food Special, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Pick up a Triple Play Punch Card from our Event Team on The Green. It will include a Lake Lemonade from Boba Beach Bubble Tea, a Vermonter Grilled Cheese at Cheese Louise, and Popsicle from Sprinks Ice Cream Truck, all at a discounted price.

Bubbles & Beats + Pop-Up Spelling Bee

Friday, August 16, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

An extended version of Bubbles & Beats along with face painting and our annual Pop-Up Spelling Bee.

Free Face Painting with Brandie, 11a.m.-2 p.m.

Local artist Brandie Markgren will have an assortment of designs for kids to choose from. Look for her setup in The Gazebo.

Pop-Up Spelling Bee, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Dust off the cobwebs! Step up for a quick Pop-Up Spelling Bee. Receive three words; Spell all three correctly and receive a prize! The first 25 kids receive a free dictionary. All participants receive a free bee antenna headband, while supplies last. There will be appropriate words for school-aged kids K-12. 

Bubbles & Beats, 11 a.m.-2p.m.

Usually a one-hour event, we'll do an extended version of Bubbles & Beats. Jam out amongst hundreds of bubbles as we listen to kid-friendly beats at The Bears. Every kid receives a free bubble wand with a special event Bear Pin to take home. The Bear Pin can be used to activate deals at select eateries and stores. Learn more >
