Hike and outdoor footwear brand Merrell to open at Settlers Green in May

The world’s leading hike and outdoor footwear brand, Merrell, will open a store at Settlers Green this spring.

Merrell is the global leader in outdoor active footwear, including hike, trail run, and lifestyle. The brand is focused on merging performance, styling, and comfort to empower all people to confidently explore the outdoors.

The 2,300 square foot Merrell store will be located at Suite H10 next to the newly relocated Old Navy Outlet. Settlers Green is 10 minutes away from the White Mountain National Forest, which sees more than six million visitors annually taking to its hundreds of miles of hiking trails.

Merrell was established in 1981 by former Rossignol ski company executives, Clark Matis and John Schweizer, who decided to launch a new maker of hiking boots. Since 1997, the company has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Michigan-based global footwear industry leader Wolverine World Wide. Merrell’s iconic, core franchises include the world’s best-selling hiking boot, the Moab, and the Jungle Moc.
